do you know of any insurance plans that help you on orthodontic treatment?

I am planning on having some orthodontic treatment done and my health insurance doesnt cover it, do you know of any reasonable plans that do?

  2. I am eligible for the Federal Plan used by the Military and Federal Employees and even that is too expensive and does noy pay enough. If you work in a hospital, usually their plans cover dentistry pretty well. But if the Feds ain't got good cheap care, then it does not really exist.
  3. try a dental school/you may have to pay a little but nothing near the cost of a practicing dentist
  4. I am not sure of what area you are in but Delta Dental (DC Metor Area) covers adult orthodontics. Good Luck!
  5. No, there are no reasonable plans to buy insurance for something you PLAN to do. Insurance is gambling on your NOT using your entire benefit. Don't be lured into so-called "discount" plans. They are not worth the money and are completely unregulated. You could end up like many other unhappy customers with no way of getting your money back if you are unhappy. Delta does not sell individual dental plans, because there is no profit in it.
