Under what legal basis can a Disability Determination Evaluation be ordered by a sleasy insurance company?
My disability insurance company ordered that I undergo a Disability Determination Evaluation with a third party doctor. Can they randomly request this since both me and my doctor have complied with every request from them prior? Or there some other basis for why they are asking for this now?
