- It is probably cheaper for you if your parents add you to their existing policy and you pay them.
- It can run $1400 per year and up depending on your location and where you live.
- Not a accurate estimate but it will be about 250.00 per month cause insurance companies and world stats prove that drivers between 16 and 23 cause more accidents and about 70 percent of those are somewhat fatal so with that being said try to just add them on your insurance (assuming that your established) if you do american family (amfam.com) insurance you get discounts on auto if you but into more of their services. For example my monte carlo SS, I pay 118.00 a month full coverage / w 0 deduct. thats after 1 year from what used to be 224.00. Also I have renters insurance and I saved 10% on that premium and when I do Life insurance thats 15% more so all together I pay about 88 - 95 dollars for all three and all you need to do is keep a good driving record
- It all depends on where you live and the insurance company you go to. You can always call them up and ask for a quote. Shop around because not everyone has the same prices. Also, it would be a good idea to get insured under your parents name. It will be less expensive, but I think that can only be done if the car is in your parents name as well.
- you can compare
- It can rage anywhere from 60/ month to 800/ month depending on where you live, what company you go to, what coverages you have, what grades you have, and a few other things. Unless the rules of your state are different, you will have to have your parents on the policy with you until you turn 18, since you are unable to be legally bound to a contract until then. Call around and get quotes. Make sure that you have every company quoting you the same limits of liability, deductible (if you have full coverage) and Uninsured and Underinsured motorist. If you have narrowed it down to two, verify each are offering the same coverage. If there is one company that is WAY lower than the others, verify that they are quoting it correctly. Call another agent with the same company to verify.
- That depends on your location. You may want to try a website that compares multiple companies at once to get you the best price. I am paying less than ½ after I did. Go to: http://www.insureme.com/landing.aspx?Refby=616165&Type=auto Take care, Casey
