Average insurance costs in the UK on a Porsche 911 Carrera??
Does anyone with a Porsche..any model but preferably one of the 911 series..know how much the average insurance cost is in the UK and can anyone recommend cheap porsche insurers? THANX I am planning to get one next month. I am looking to buy a new one '05 reg, I am 24 and have had my license for 2 years, live in a posh area...thanx

- surely there is no such thing as an average cost as experience, driving history, endorsements etc differ greatly from person to person, hence so would the quotes.
- all I know that if you are insurance agent in California and somebody calls on the phone with that question the agent will have a hard time not laughing his head off. I think the answer anywhere in the world is "TOO MUCH" what does a person do with a porsche? see how fast they can go thus the higher prices due to the higher liability

- If its a true Classic 911 then there are schemes for classic Porsches that bring the price right down, there is a broker in Leeds called BLM, I have a 956 and pay under £400 for a limited mileage policy
- Insurance qoutes vary almost as much with postcodes as they do with make and model of car - how old are you? That is probably the biggest factor when advising you of an average quote.
